Hello friends! Today, we'd like to share an exciting project from our modern workshop experience: crafting with epoxy and olive wood! Firstly, let's start with a term that some of you might not be familiar with: epoxy. Epoxy is a durable, transparent, and flexible material formed by combining liquid resin and a hardening agent. It is used in both industrial and artistic fields and has a wide range of applications. When combined with woodworking, it creates stunning aesthetic effects.

Olive Wood: Nature's Elegance

The choice of material to be combined with epoxy is crucial. Our preference was olive wood. Olive wood is known for its natural elegance and durability. It is also visually striking. In our project, we chose to use transparent epoxy to accentuate the natural beauty of olive wood.

Now, onto the most exciting part: the modern workshop experience. We gathered the necessary equipment for our project: epoxy resin, hardener, olive wood slices, molds, spatula, and sandpaper. The first step was to cut the olive wood slices into the desired shape and size. Then, we placed them into molds and filled them with epoxy resin.

At this point, patience and getting the right mixture are crucial. Mixing epoxy resin and hardener in the correct proportions prevents the formation of unwanted air bubbles and ensures a more homogeneous result.

The products resulting from the combination of epoxy and olive wood are visually stunning and durable.
